Smokeless Saturday Facilitator Training
Smokeless Saturday is a one-day tobacco cessation/awareness program for students who have been found with tobacco on school premises. It can also accommodate students who self-refer. Smokeless Saturday uses a positive approach to motivate, teach, and empower students to stop using tobacco.
Healthy Lungs Pennsylvania offers Smokeless Saturday Facilitator Training 1-2 times per year at our office in Cranberry Township. The two-day training session will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on day 1, and from 9 a.m. until noon on day 2. Tuition includes all training materials, breaks and lunch on the first day. The training includes in depth background on tobacco use, cessation, working with adolescents, and appropriate audiovisuals and reference materials.
- Tuition: $200.00 per person
Requirements:
Facilitators should be current non-tobacco users.
