Annual Report

It has been a long-standing tradition of Healthy Lungs Pennsylvania (formerly the American Respiratory Alliance) to provide our programs for free or for a minimal fee, and to waive the minimal fee to remove financial barriers for our clients who need assistance but cannot afford it. This tradition has taken on renewed significance, as we strive to reach further into the underserved communities of our region with new initiatives for adults with chronic lung diseases, children with asthma, and programs to prevent infectious lung disease and smoking.

The need for creating and sustaining a strong fundraising base has been critical to our continued ability to provide help whenever and wherever it is needed. The generosity of local foundations, corporations, individual donors, our Board of Directors, and staff has been an overwhelmingly positive force in the fight against healthcare disparities.
