The American Respiratory Alliance of Western Pennsylvania offers a variety of ways to help improve the quality of life for those who struggle with lung diseases. Throughout the year we hold several fundraising events as a means of promoting community involvements and increasing financial support for our programs and services. Our signature fundraising event is "Dine with the Pittsburgh Steelers", but we also participate in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community and collect small change in Western Pennsylvania liquor stores during the holiday season.

• Shop through iGive.com/arawp . Membership is FREE and EASY – just one step and you’re done. You can shop at over 400 of the stores on line & save on your taxes. Stores like Lands’ End, Barnes & Noble, Eddie Bauer, JCPenney, PetSmart, and many more all participate by donating up to 26% from every purchase you make. Just make sure you specify that your charity is the American Respiratory Alliance.
      
• Donate through the United Way Donor Option. If you are giving to the United Way through your workplace and would like to have your donation designated to the American Respiratory Alliance, simply write in the appropriate code # from the list below on your donation form.
