TB Mantoux Skin Test Training |
Tuberculosis (TB) is still an important public health issue in the United States. In 2005, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported 14,097 U.S. cases. Of this number, 325 were from Pennsylvania. The “Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test Training for Health Care Workers” workshop is for RN’s, LPN’s, EMT’s, and others interested in learning more about TB skin testing.

The participant will be able to:
- Administer, read, and interpret the Mantoux Skin test
- Discuss TB morbidity, disease transmission and pathogenesis
- Organize a workplace TB skin test program.
